Information for decision making introduces and develops students’ understanding of accounting as a language and tool used by internal and external stakeholders of an organisation to make decisions. Students will learn how to read and interpret financial and non-financial information, appraise sustainability-based information, analyse cost and pricing scenarios, and apply performance measurement tools to inform decision making relating to organisational activities. The subject develops students’ ability to evaluate, analyse, and communicate diverse types of information for decision making purposes.
